McKayla Rose Maroney also known as 'Mack Air Maroney" is a famous American athlete who has won two medals during the Summer Olympic Games of 2012 Silver for individual gymnastics in the vault, and gold medal with her team. Her parents were involved with sports and that led her to take up gymnastics from a young age. Her specialty was the vault. Being the sole athlete that has been able to defend her gold medal at the 2011 world championships. In addition, she also took home the title at the 2013 championships. She was disappointed when she won the silver in 2012 for the vault was evident and she had hoped to earn gold again during Rio. Rio Olympic Games of 2016. Due to a health issue or injuries she declared her intention to quit before she could compete in the Olympic Games.
